Música Para Salvar Vidas (Music to Save Lives) is a non-profit organization that is helping orphans in Uganda to create a future for themselves, using music and dance to build their confidence and develop their many talents. Each child in our orphanage receives daily music lessons and can take part in a performance choir, in addition to receiving a quality education from primary school through advanced professional or academic training. Despite any particular previous musical inclination, the talent and confidence that they develop with us is truly extraordinary, especially given the neglect, abuse and poverty each of them experienced in their past. Each child is later supported as they start their adult life outside the orphanage, whether they choose to start a new business or find a job relevant to their professional training.
